The first name anyone mentions for kakigori in Nara. The ice is shaved so fine it melts on the tongue, and reviewers keep saying it never hurts the teeth. Syrups and creams are layered in, matcha, strawberry, berry yoghurt and more, and the menu changes with the seasons. The sign is tiny and the entrance is a gift shop, so it is easy to walk past.
