The Nara branch of a Yoshino family that has made persimmon-leaf sushi since 1861. There is a takeaway counter and a separate dining room, so you can sit down for a set or just grab a box. Peeling each leaf is a small guessing game: mackerel or salmon? The fish is salted and vinegared, so expect a sharp, salty tang.
