Tucked into the Naramachi alleys, this small izakaya sits in a building that looks like an old storehouse. Slide the door open and you find a counter stocked with Nara sake. The menu runs to oden, stewed chicken, salt-grilled chicken and vinegared octopus, mostly around 800 yen a plate. Seats are few and fill fast in the evening.
