Famous for kitsune udon with a twist: a giant fried-tofu pouch, tied with kelp, floats in the broth and splits open to reveal the noodles. The tofu is sweet and juicy, and everyone takes a photo first. Nakatanidou's mochi pounding is next door, so people sign the waiting list and snack on mochi while they wait.
