A Jesuit Renaissance church sitting in the middle of the shopping street. Step through the door and one huge barrel vault runs overhead with no columns in the way. In the crypt below lie members of the Wittelsbach royal family, including Ludwig II, the 'fairy-tale king'. The church itself is free, so it fits in easily between Marienplatz and shopping.
