Right beneath the Frauenkirche's twin towers, a Bavarian tavern going for over 130 years. Finger-sized Nuremberg sausages are grilled over an open beechwood fire and served on pewter plates in sixes, eights, tens or twelves. The beer is Augustiner from the wooden barrel. Inside, the rooms are crammed with dark panelling and old paintings; on fine days the outdoor tables facing the cathedral go first.
