The town outpost for beer from Andechs, the hilltop monastery southwest of Munich. It's built against the Frauenkirche's south wall, so outdoor tables put the red-brick towers right overhead. The menu mixes classics like Obatzda, roast pork and suckling-pig knuckle with Wagyu dishes from their own herd. A good stand-in if you can't spare the hour-plus trip to the monastery.
