The main shop is the hip-roofed wooden building at the end of the bridge. The house rule is buckwheat, wild mountain yam and egg, and not a drop of water, so the noodles stay springy instead of going soft. The top seller is seiro soba: cold noodles with grated yam on the side. A little further along the river, the annex serves the same menu in a quieter room.
