A noodle shop of more than 30 years on the MICHELIN Guide Chengdu Bib Gourmand list. It lives on one dish: springy house-made sweet-potato glass noodles topped with braised pork intestine. Choose a mala red broth or a rich white one, and add intestine knots for extra chew. Michelin's inspectors say to pair it with guokui, a crisp flatbread stuffed with pork and Sichuan pepper, straight from the oven. It's a little out of the centre, so make it an early DiDi run.
