A shabby tiled-roof shop diagonally across from Wenshu Monastery, said to have stood in the same place for over half a century. The star is clear starch jelly noodles dressed in sesame sauce and garlic; sweet-water noodles are on the menu too. Seats fill before the lunch hour and you may queue to buy a ticket. A light bowl after the temple.
