A huge Protestant cathedral under a green copper dome, planted in front of the Lustgarten lawn at the south end of Museum Island. Inside, it's the gilded mosaic dome and the giant organ that grab you first. Keep climbing the narrow stairs and you come out on the outer dome walkway, about 50 m up, with the TV Tower, the museums and the Spree laid out below. Downstairs, the Hohenzollern crypt with its Prussian royal coffins reopened in March 2026 after renovation.
