The Okura Tokyo replaced the 1962 Hotel Okura and opened in 2019, keeping the old look: lattice patterns and lobby lights shaped like paper lanterns. Rooms range from Heritage rooms to Club suites. There is an indoor pool, the French restaurant La Belle Epoque and the Chinese restaurant Toh-Ka-Lin. It sits in a quiet hillside neighbourhood near the US embassy, calm after dark.
