It's far shorter than Skytree, and that's the point: the city is close. From the windows of the 150 m Main Deck you can follow the traffic between the Roppongi Hills and Azabudai Hills towers, and on the Look-down Window the ground shows through the steel legs. Plenty of people prefer the tower from the outside, though. The local ritual is to watch the orange lights switch on at dusk from Shiba Park or the grounds of Zojo-ji next door. There's also an outdoor staircase walk up to the deck.
