A long-time Taichung favourite, now run by the founding family's third generation. The main dish hasn't changed in over sixty years: egg noodles with braised minced pork and fried scallion oil. Add a braised egg, and Michelin's inspectors insist on the house sweet chilli sauce. A fried-tofu-puff soup or mustard-stem soup makes it breakfast. Bib Gourmand.
