Brewing black tea inside the Second Market since 1972; the Lao Lai teahouse chain around town grew from here. The tea is strong but not bitter, with a firm sweetness that sits well beside a greasy market breakfast. The house combo is dou hong, black tea mixed with soy milk. Locals carry one around after breakfast.
