A big, older hotel on the west shore of Darling Harbour (opened 1991, renovated 2018). As one guest put it, the pinkish exterior is showing its age, but reviews keep coming back to how big the rooms are: suitcases open on the floor with space to spare. Harbour-view rooms get boat lights and the skyline across the water at night, and the waterside restaurant is worth a visit even if you stay elsewhere. The tram outside runs straight to Central.
