- A little east of Ta Prohm; the Srah Srang pond lies directly opposite the temple's east gate
A few minutes past the Ta Prohm tour-bus queue sits a temple of the same era and style with far fewer people. Its galleries are half-collapsed and furred with moss, and a few carved faces survive over the gateways. Light drops through the gaps in the stone, so in quiet hours any corner makes a photo. Across the road is Srah Srang, a big rectangular pool once used for royal bathing; sitting on the edge steps is a good rest. At dusk the sky shows up in the water.
