Address
Puente Nuevo, linking Ronda's old and new towns

Stand at the parapet and look down, and your knees go wobbly. The Tajo gorge splits the town in two, and the 18th-century Puente Nuevo spans it more than 100 metres up. The real view comes from the paths that drop below the bridge, looking back up at white houses clinging to the cliff edge. The old town has quiet lanes and Arab baths; the new town has one of Spain's oldest bullrings. Many visitors end up lunching on a terrace with a view straight down the gorge.
