Walk in and a red-brick building curves round you in a half circle like open arms, with a little canal running along its front. It was built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, and around its base runs a ring of tiled benches, one for each Spanish province; visitors hunt down the benches of the cities they've been to for a photo. You can rent a rowing boat on the canal, and in the evening street flamenco dancers sometimes set up. As the sun drops, the brick glows orange.
