It claims a 1670 opening, which makes it the city's oldest bar. Hams hang from the ceiling and the wooden counter is two or three people deep with standing drinkers. Your tab gets chalked straight onto the bar and added up when you leave. Order the espinacas con garbanzos, spinach stewed with chickpeas and cumin, and the oxtail stew. If you want a table, book the upstairs dining room.
