Opened in 1946, Woo Lae Oak builds its Pyongyang-style noodles around broth made with slowly simmered Korean beef shank. Buckwheat noodles arrive in chilled broth seasoned with salt and soy sauce. Bulgogi is another specialty to share alongside the noodles. Try the broth before adding vinegar or mustard.
