The food alley at the heart of Gwangjang Market, trading since 1905. At Sunhee-ne, stone-ground mung bean batter is ladled onto an oily griddle and flipped once the edges go brown and crisp. A few steps away, Buchon Yukhoe has the longest line in the market for its raw beef with pear and egg yolk, and the yukhoe bibimbap. Grab a pancake, loop the market, and come back when your number is called.
