Moerenuma Koen 1-1, Higashi Ward

A former landfill that sculptor Isamu Noguchi reshaped into 'one sculpture the size of a park'. Climb grassy Mt Moere and you look down on perfect cones, straight paths and a glass pyramid, as if you were standing inside an artwork. The Sea Fountain shoots jets skyward at set times. It is a trek from downtown, but rent a bike and loop the grounds and the day disappears.
