If there's a queue on the corner of Shotover Street, it's almost certainly for Fergburger. The buns are plate-sized and the patties thick, so one burger tends to cancel dinner. It runs from 7 am to 2:30 am, which means it works after a bungy jump or after the pub. Next door are its siblings, Fergbaker, Mrs Ferg and Ferg's Bar, and the whole block runs like a Ferg street. Plenty of people say it tastes best taken down to a bench by the lake.
