A seafood strip in Rawai, a fishing village for close to a century. Pick prawns, crab, squid or fish from the stall tanks, pay by weight, then hand it to a seafront restaurant that cooks it your way for a fee. You can also just order off a restaurant menu: one visitor, taken by local friends, ate butter-garlic prawns, sea bass steamed with lime and squid in black ink at Mook Manee Seafood right on the water. Afterwards, walk the roughly 300 m Rawai pier.
