A few steps from the Musée d'Orsay toward the river, on the corner of Rue du Bac's antique-dealer stretch. Inside it's leather banquettes, mirrors and a heavy wooden bar, and the terrace is generous. Nearly everyone orders the same three things: boeuf bourguignon, onion soup and escargots. It opens at 7am, closes at 2am and the kitchen runs non-stop from 11am to midnight, so it fits around any museum slot.
