The giant crab with waving legs, in every Dotonbori photo, sits on top of this very building. Crab comes from the tanks as sashimi, grilled, tempura, sushi and finally kani-suki, a hot pot in white soy broth. Sunken kotatsu tables, tatami rooms and regular tables make it easy with parents. Most people just photograph the sign and walk on; come in when you want one splurge on crab.
