From the pier under Don Quijote's yellow wheel, a small open boat runs up and down the Dotonbori canal for about 20 minutes. It heads up to Nipponbashi, turns, then drops down toward Minatomachi, passing under nine bridges while the crew points out the Glico sign and the riverside shops. Plenty of reviewers say the best part is waving at the crowds on the bridges and getting waves back. By day you are looking at the signs; after dark you are watching the neon in the water.
