This okonomiyaki shop has held the same spot in the middle of Dotonbori for more than 70 years. Staff cook everything on the griddle in front of you, so no flipping disasters, and the finished pancake stays hot on your own patch of iron. The house special, Mizuno-yaki, packs pork, squid, prawn, scallop, octopus and oyster; the most popular is yamaimo-yaki, made with grated mountain yam instead of flour. It has been a Michelin Bib Gourmand for several years.
