Founded in 1947 and a pillar of Nagoya kissaten culture. The Osu flagship still feels Showa-era, serving strong flannel-drip blend coffee. Order iced coffee and you get hot coffee in a demitasse, a glass of ice and cream, and pour it yourself. The signature is the fried-prawn sandwich: three prawns and fluffy egg with katsu sauce and tartar on toast.
