At the northern edge of the city by the autobahn; you walk across a big esplanade from the U-Bahn

Wrapped in some 2,800 inflated plastic cushions, the stadium looks from a distance like a giant rubber dinghy. The guided tour takes you through the press room, the dressing room and the players' tunnel and out to the dugouts, where all 75,000 seats hit you at once. The FC Bayern Museum in the same building lines up trophies and legends' shirts. After dark the façade glows red, and some people hang around just for that.
