The park runs from behind Sforza Castle to the Arco della Pace on Piazza Sempione

Step out of Sforza Castle and the lawn opens up. Office workers eat sandwiches on it at lunch, kids kick balls and families spread blankets at the weekend. At the far end stands the Arco della Pace, a marble triumphal arch begun under Napoleon, best seen from the square with its bronze chariot group on top. The steel Torre Branca in the middle of the park has a lift up to a view of the Duomo and the new skyscrapers.
