Ravioleria Sarpi
Ravioleria Sarpi (Via Paolo Sarpi)
Dumplings folded behind glass, eaten from a queue
⚠ Long queue
- Budget
- €5–10 pp
- Address
- Via Paolo Sarpi 27, on the Chinatown pedestrian street
On Via Paolo Sarpi the queue is the first thing you notice. In a street-front kitchen with no sign, cooks fold dumplings by hand while the line watches and waits for a paper tray. The basic fillings are beef and leek, pork and cabbage, and vegetable. There is almost nowhere to sit, so you eat standing on the street. A cheap, quick lunch when you are tired of pasta.
