Right at the Southgate footbridge, facing Flinders Street Station across the Yarra. The marble-and-chandelier lobby makes it a regular pick for couples and honeymoons, and one guest travelling with her mum summed it up as a little old-fashioned but handsome. City-side rooms look straight over the river at the station roofs and the CBD towers. On our dates the lowest rate ran AUD 278–502, noticeably gentler than Crown Towers or the Ritz-Carlton.
