When a young crew took over this old tasca on the slope up to the castle, it became one of the hardest tables in Lisbon. The room still looks like a neighbourhood tavern; the plates play with tradition. Their take on bacalhau à Brás, cod samosas and pão de ló, a soft sponge cake, come up again and again. The staff are drawn on the menu, which tells you the mood. Dishes change with the season.
