Tucked off the Sanjo-dori shopping street, opened in 2015. Rooms run from ten-bed dorms (mixed or women-only) to bunk-bed twins and doubles with their own shower. The shared lounge and kitchen are big and clean, and reviews say it is an easy place to fall into conversation when travelling alone. Nishiki Market and Kawaramachi are about ten minutes' walk.
