The chain that turned gyukatsu into a Kyoto staple. Beef gets the thinnest crumb coat, so the outside crunches and the middle stays almost raw and red. A personal hot stone comes with the set: if you want it more done, sear a slice for a moment. Wasabi soy, sansho salt, cutlet sauce and a Kyoto-style curry dip keep each bite different. The Teramachi branch has a counter downstairs, tables upstairs and a menu with foreign-language explanations.
