Saryeoni Forest Road entrance, Bijarim-ro, Jeju-si

Tall cedars on both sides turn the road into a green tunnel. From the Bijarim-ro entrance to the Mulchat Oreum fork it is packed dirt and easy walking. Sunlight comes through in pieces, so even a midsummer afternoon feels cool. A misty dawn after rain gives the best photos. The full road is long, but an hour or two out and back from the entrance is plenty.
