A park for the victims of the Jeju April 3rd events, which began in 1948. The memorial hall lays out the background and course of events, with testimony from families. Outside, an altar and rows of stones carved with names. Most people end up walking slowly and saying little, and the island looks a bit different afterwards. It sits on the northern slope of Hallasan, so leave extra travel time.
