The tracks cut straight through a gotjawal forest, and a little train crawls along them. Roots grip black lava rock right outside the window. Hop off at any station and walk a loop through the trees. Even in summer it feels cooler than the coast, a good escape from midday heat. Most of the crowd is families with kids.
