This is the cone where the UNESCO-listed lava tube system begins. Daily numbers are capped, and guided walks leave every 30 minutes. Inside the crater the forest is damp and cool, a different air from the coast. From the rim, the surrounding oreum roll off like waves. You can't walk in without a booking, so reserve before anything else.
