A big restaurant in a restored colonial mansion. Around the courtyard, kitchens dressed up like street stalls let you watch bánh xèo frying, phở simmering and chicken grilling before you choose. The menu is book-thick, covering Hanoi bún chả, Huế bún bò and southern bánh xèo in one sitting. It's rarely anyone's best meal, but it rarely misses, which is why it's a go-to first dinner or a night out with parents.
