Sun Carnival Square, about 1 km west of Sun World, across from the Novotel Ha Long Bay

After dark Sun Carnival Square lights up and a two-storey market building plus stalls around the square open for business. The ground floor is shoes, bags and souvenirs; upstairs it's local coffee, cashews, sweets and snacks. There's a lit fountain and an outdoor stage that hosts shows on some weekends. A separate 'Ha Long Bay Night Market' near Marine Plaza further west causes confusion, but this one is the walkable choice from the Bai Chay beach hotels.
