A 500-odd-room hotel from Vietnamese chain Muong Thanh, right in the middle of Bai Chay, opened in 2013. A huge lobby, banquet halls and a row of tour coaches out front set the scene. The Sun World Queen Cable Car and water park are on the doorstep, and breakfast-included rates start at around US$35. The building, though, shows its age.
