A 15-room ryokan you reach by crossing a suspension bridge over the Hayakawa valley. The water comes from its own spring, there are several shared baths, and some rooms have a private open-air bath. Dinner is a kaiseki menu that changes monthly. On foot it is a 20-minute uphill walk from Hakone-Yumoto, which is exactly why it is so quiet. The Hakone Yuryo day spa is just nearby.
