A lakeside soba shop running for over fifty years. Buckwheat from Shikaoi in Hokkaido is ground on an old-style millstone, and the noodles come out smooth with real spring. The tatami seats look straight out over Lake Ashi, a good stop before the pirate ship or after Hakone Shrine. Ten-seiro, with prawn and six kinds of vegetable tempura, is the big seller.
