The ships are pure theme park: gilded trim, masts, the works. Still, once you're up on deck with the wind in your face, everyone's busy taking pictures. Heading south you spot Hakone Shrine's red torii standing in the shallows through the trees, and on clear days Fuji rises over the bow. The Royal II came back freshly refitted in summer 2026.
