A brick-toned building on the edge of the Ohori Park lake, brightened up with a new lobby and café after its 2019 renovation. The collection runs wide, from Western modern art like Salvador Dalí's 'The Madonna of Port Lligat' to Kuroda clan treasures and Buddhist art, all under one roof. The collection galleries are cheap, which makes it a good place to duck out of the heat or rain mid-walk. The café windows look out over the lake. From July to October it stays open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
