When people carrying cones stream out of the lane behind the Uffizi, dei Neri is close. The display runs long: riso that tastes like rice pudding, fig and ricotta, seasonal chestnut. A few dairy-free flavours are on offer, and tasting before you choose is allowed. It keeps late hours, so it works as an after-dinner stroll stop.
