A corner deli-café on the south side of the Meadows, run by the same family for decades and long since turned from a grocery deli into a sit-down spot. Strawberry-and-Nutella waffles are the poster item; baguettes, quiche, frittata and lasagne cover lunch. From the window seats you watch the park and the dog walkers. There's a second branch on George Street in the New Town.
